Featured in our main gallery is A World of Light, by Navajo artist Shonto Begay. Showcasing 20 new works all produced in 2022, this rhythmic body of work speaks to Shonto’s travels, family life, and personal experiences. He draws on the joys of childhood summers on the reservation, his survival of a brutal government boarding school, and enduring the complications that COVID-19 brought upon the Navajo population.
