Join artist Alexandra Fuller for a wet cyanotype workshop on Saturday, May 4, from 12-2 pm. In this alternative process, participants will use lake water, salt, and mineral-laden sand to create abstract cyanotypes on cotton fabric. The final collaborative piece will be on display in the exhibition As the Lake Fades at UMOCA until the show’s closing on June 1.
Workshop participants will meet at the Great Saltair. The outing will include a nature walk and picnic discussion led by a naturalist familiar with the Lake.
