LENKA KONOPASEK

Lenka Konopasek is a Czech-born artist based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Working in painting, sculpture and installation, Konopasek’s work raises questions about human behavior and differences in cultural and national attitudes. Her most recent work uncovers the rodeo as a withering American spectacle, with cowboys and horses frozen in a moment of performance, danger and power.
