TOM SCHULTE

Tom Schulte is an artist currently based in his childhood home of rural Missouri. Having spent a number of years in Washington, Utah and California, Schulte is inspired by the beauty and solitude of the Western landscape. His work is made in a unique process of carving and routing imagery into commercial rubber flooring, then burnishing, patinating and sealing a layer of copper, and finishing with colorful layers of oil glazes.
