The Pacific Ocean (Oceania) spans a third of the earth's surface. As a woman from this region, Moana’s sense of scale, time and place is expansive. Her storytelling style is inspired by her experience as an Indigenous woman raised in the Western region of the United States. Her artwork is heavily influenced by the people, places, and ecology she considers home.
