Kheng Lim is an artist based in Utah. He is from Malaysia, of Chinese descent. His grandparents on both sides of the family came to Malaysia in the early 20th century, right when China was entering a very tumultuous time. Lim was raised in a mixed heritage of Chinese cultural traditions and western media, being able to identify with a great majority of pop cultural references of Americans. In 2013, he arrived in Provo, Utah to pursue a master’s degree in fine art from Brigham Young University. He now runs his own framing business, Border & Square.
