Laura Sharp Wilson is an educator, painter, sculptor, installation and public artist living in Salt Lake City, Utah. Wilson is currently the Artist in Residence at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. The artist's most recent solo exhibition “Conversations with the Ground” was at McKenzie Fine Art in New York this past February. She was also included in “The Earth Beneath Their Feet” a group exhibition at Pamela Salisbury Gallery in Hudson, NY. Her terrazzo floor design “Thread, Trail, Rope and Yarn” can be seen at the Eccles Theater in downtown Salt Lake City. Laura curated “Liten” a group exhibition of artists from across the country at Bountiful Davis Art Center in fall 2019. . Laura Sharp Wilson received a BFA in fine art from Carnegie Mellon University, served as an apprentice at the Fabric Workshop in Philadelphia and completed her MFA at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
