ARTIST STATEMENT
My eyes are sparked by natural light and uncontrolled situations where light and movement are not so readily manipulated. As a photographer I am drawn to the conspicuous role of chance within the edges of a frame. I continue to work with film emulsions while embracing the possibilities and potential of the digital world. I remain intrigued by the relationship between the machine and the human eye, tensions and balance that arise between this interface.
