Modern West announces exhibition of contemporary Indigenous artists. November 20, 2026-January 3, 2027. Modern West is pleased to announce Journey Between the Lines, an exhibition of contemporary Indigenous artists. Please join us for the opening artist reception Friday, November 20, 2026 from 6-9 PM.
The group show features works by Tony Abeta, Shonto Begay, Gregg Deal, Sheldon Harvey, Frank Buffalo Hyde, Arlo Namingha, John Nieto, Stanley Natchez, and Kevin Red Star, on display through January 3, 2027.
Journey Between the Lines emphasizes Indigenous experiences and perspectives through painting, photography, mixed media, and sculpture. Together, the artworks create a visual journey through color, gesture, form, and light, inviting us to consider what lies between the lines of history, place, and memory.
